02-08-2024Popular entertainment with bulls is not a fiesta! Did you know that 18,000 cruel fiestas with bulls, cows and calves take place every year in Spain? Yes, in 1820 municipalities. And most bull fiestas take place right now, during the summer months.

Spain has a high diversity of types of bull fiestas: animals are forced to jump into the sea, they are given flammable material on their horns. Bull runs are also included in bull festivals, with Pamplona being the most famous example.
