The Mexican state of Michoacán prohibited the entrance of minors under 15 years to events with bulls, likes bullfights. Cockfights and dogfights were also forbidden. This is the result of an initiative to change the law in Michoacán concerning the rights of minors.

On Saturday April 9 a march for animal rights took place in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon. CAS International travelled to Lisbon to join this march and stand up for the bulls and horses that are victims of the Portuguese bullfighting sector.

On Friday March 11 the gala Rock in Vega took place in Madrid. Spanish public figures received an award for their support and dedication to end cruel events with bulls in Spain. CAS International travelled to Madrid to be present during the awards ceremony.
Discussion about bullfighting in museum the Hermitage AmsterdamWednesday, March 9th 2016
In the museum the Hermitage Amsterdam there is an exposition ‘Spanish Masters’ until May 29. Several master pieces exhibit elements of Spanish culture through time. Some attention is given to the theme bullfighting by art objects as well as in a video. CAS International received several complaints about this by visitors to the museum.
